The Whiterocks Blue Flag beach is divinely located contiguous with East Strand, forming between them, a 3 mile beach, just outside Portrush town. Sweeping golden sands, long wide beach, crashing ocean waves and giant sand dunes makes this beach truly natures playground.

The Whiterocks, which is a clean, safe beach provides a completely different vibe from the two 'in town' Strands. Whiterocks is fantastic for people of all ages, it is especially loved for swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, diving, horse riding, kayaking, fishing, boating and all watersports. Lifeguards are on duty between 11am and 7pm everyday from June 21st until Sept 7th (high season), and in May and June at weekends.Whiterocks Beach can be found via a narrow access road off the A2. The drive down to the ocean is curvy, with a couple of parking and picnic possibilities on the way down! At the bottom there are toilet and shower facilities. It is possible to walk, bike or take a bus to the Whiterocks.
